Miswa At Patola Soup

in Hive PH16 hours ago

Good day everyone, my recipe content for today is Miswa and Patola Soup for dinner.

This is a simple kind of balanced veggie and meat foodie for today's recipe. Lately, I made sardines and Patola with miswa and it made a great comb but today I made pork as the ingredient.

First let me show the ingredients on these pictures below.

• 2 pieces patola or also called as sponge gourd
• 5 cloves of garlic for good smell
• 1 onion for additional good smell
• 2 bags of miswa

Preparation:

• Peel two pieces of patola or also called sponge gourd. After peeling, slice them into small and just enough thin circles, about ¾ inches.

• Boil pork until tender and when it's done, slice them to be included as ingredients.

• Prepare 5 cloves of garlic and 1 onion. Peel and chop these ingredients.

• Prepare patis sauce (this is a fish sauce from Philippines and we use this to any recipes to taste), 2 glasses of water, and the miswa.

Instructions:

Sauté pork first until golden brown, then add garlic and onion until their aroma smells.

Add patola and 2 glasses of water, also add patis sauce for the taste, then cover with lid for about 3 minutes.

This is the result of the recipe.
I have put too much pork. Maybe it's better to have lesser pork meat for this recipe.

This is just my personal preference of cooking based on what I have watched on YouTube, but there are still other ways to cook this in a better taste so this is just simple one. You might want to add optional ingredients like knorr cubes, magic sarap, or paminta, or anything to satisfy your cravings. Yes, you can.

Thank you for dropping by and have a good day!
