I have met a new set of colleagues in the company I am working for in the last few months. It wasn't easy to be in a new environment, especially meeting people with whom I would be working on this entire journey. I just got lucky that these people are approachable and never made me feel out of place.
Recently, my colleagues and I decided to have dinner before going back home. Despite being surrounded by fast food restaurants, we chose to enjoy a food sold just across the street - and it's the popular Mami Pares here in the Philippines.
They knew a spot where a lot of street food is available, and it's just in front of Walmart. Lucky for us, there's this known Pares vendor in his cart selling some hot and tasty Mami Pares.

We just ordered the same food, Mami Pares, and waited for it to be served. After a few minutes, they were all ready, and we started the feast. Since it's a street food, we chose to eat at the table they have, despite it being small. Also, the vendor offered us some free water and unlimited soup with our noodles.
We did not talk much since we got too excited about our food. The soup was delicious, and the noodles complemented it perfectly. Another good thing about this is that it's budget-friendly.
After eating, I asked them for a group photo since I was planning to share this experience here on my platform to serve as a memory for this day.
