Hello Hive Foodies Community! Do you like Pork Adobo? Today, I want to tell you how I cooked a simple Filipino pork dish at home. My mom bought fresh pork from the market and said, " It’s your turn to cook ". That means I get to cook it! I was excited because this pork is one of my favorite foods. So, I used easy ingredients that you can find at home. Cooking this pork is fun and does not take a lot of time. You will love it because it is juicy, tasty and smells so good.

Here are the ingredients I used:

3 cloves of garlic
3 lemochito (calamansi)
2 teaspoons of salt
A splash of soy sauce

I washed the pork very well. Then, I sliced it and washed it again. This makes the pork clean and ready to cook.

Next, I mixed the garlic, lemochito juice, salt, and soy sauce with the pork. I made sure every piece had sauce on it. Then, I let it sit for 20 minutes. This step is called marinating. It makes the pork soft and full of flavor.

The best thing about pork is it can cook without adding oil. Pork has its own fat that helps it cook. I put the pork in a frying pan. After 10 minutes, I covered it with a lid. This stops the hot fat from splashing. After another 20 minutes, I took off the lid. The pork was golden, crispy, and smelled so good.

This pork is special because it is easy to cook and tastes really good. It reminds me of home and family. Cooking it makes me happy because I helped my mom. You don’t need many ingredients to make something tasty. Simple food can be the best. This recipe is perfect if you want to cook something fun and delicious. You can make it for your family, friends, or even just yourself. Every bite is soft, juicy and also full of flavor. I like to eat this pork with a match of cold Coca-Cola. The sweet drink goes very well with the salty, tasty pork. It makes the food even more yummy!

Thank you, Hive Foodies! Try cooking this pork at home and share your story. Let’s all enjoy yummy Filipino food together!
