I told the restaurant in my post on July 25, 2024. After a little meeting and changing the date or time a few times, I finally managed to bring this group together for a food party! It's just my usual food journey tho 😂. Special tag for @iamraincrystal who is looking forward to this post.
After around 2 months this restaurant has opened, The queue isn't stopping 😂. Is it that good or just because lunch time? I'm in queue for 1 hour until I get my table for 6 people. Luckily, GJ already arrived before the meeting time and booked a queue ticket. Who are these 5 people? It's the hardest group that is hard for me to make an appointment for a lunch/dinner meeting. Why? Let's see the picture below first.

There's another person again but he's late because stuck in a traffic jam. We ate first while waiting for him too as two of them which are FS and AY are still working today. Yes, you read it correctly. FS and AY are still working on Saturday and they are on lunch break now. FS got a project that asked him to take a day off on weekdays and AY sometimes got urgent calls (unplanned) from his supervisor.
Ok, it's just 2 employees that work on weekdays. It's not that hard... There's still another reason why it's hard, the food. AY can't eat pork and JU can't eat beef due to their religions. I usually invite AY for beef, JU for pork, and others for anything that they don't have allergies. A top menu in this restaurant is Grandma's Signature Noodles, noodles with fishballs, fishcakes, fish dumplings, and crispy fish fries. It's meeting their condition and also me 😂.
After a few minutes, TA arrived. He's also one of the hard people to invite because he's living in Bogor and it's outside of Jakarta. Drive here takes him around 1 and a half hours. FS and AY already went back to work again.
Got everyone to try this menu with me and overall we agreed on some things as the queue took so long. Most of us think that the noodles weren't worth it, but the fishballs and others were good. TA thinks differently because he's putting all the soup on the dry noodles. TA says it's good and worth it... 🤔 It's dry noodles??? Well, I follow the instructions 😂. I just tasted a shrimp paste. I always doubt spicy food from Singapore tho and I know it. It's not spicy at all 😂. At least, the iced bird's nest jelly is good.
It's nice to have a great lunch with all of these friends that's hard to invite them together at the same time 😂. It's good that I can make it true today. Have a nice day everyone!
