Bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog, en esta publicación, actualizandolos de mi viaje a Segovia, me gustaría mostrarles lo que comimos ya que el lugar estaba muy bonito, la comida super rica y se merece un post de apreciación gastronómica. Empezando porque tiene 3 ambientes, la terraza, la parte de adentro que es más turística y pública y otra área en el sótano que es mucho más privada y super bonita. La decoración estaba muy original y te hace sentir muy a gusto. No esperamos ni 5 minutos y nos montaron una mesa para 7 personas muy cómoda.
Welcome once again to my blog, in this post, updating you from my trip to Segovia, I would like to show you what we ate since the place was very nice, the food was super tasty and deserves a gastronomic appreciation post. Starting because it has 3 environments, the terrace, the inside part which is more touristy and public and another area in the basement which is much more private and super nice. The decoration was very original and makes you feel very comfortable. We didn't even wait 5 minutes and they set up a table for 7 people very comfortably.

Tienen una carta muy variada pero íbamos por una sola cosa, la comida típica de Segovia que es El Cochinillo, luego de pedir nuestras bebidas, mientras observábamos toda la comida deliciosa que había, nos dimos cuenta que habían otras cosas más ricas y que el cochinillo podía esperar, a parte que no a todos les agradaba la idea de comer cochinillo, entonces cada uno se pidió lo que mejor le agradara. Había un menú que traía primero, segundo y postre/café que fue la opción más degustada por todos.
They have a varied menu but we went for only one thing, the typical food of Segovia which is El Cochinillo, after ordering our drinks, while we looked at all the delicious food that was there, we realized that there were other things that were more delicious and that the suckling pig could wait, besides that not everyone liked the idea of eating suckling pig, so everyone ordered what they liked best. There was a menu that included first, second and dessert/coffee, which was the option most enjoyed by everyone.
- Ensalada de atún y huevo duro.
Como entrante, aprovechamos los menús para variar las opciones y probar de todo un poco. Tenían un tamaño bastante bien. La ensalada puedo decir que estaba muy rica, con patatas, cebolla, perejil y aceitunas negras, el atún estaba fresco que era lo importante y a todos les gustó.
As a starter, we took advantage of the menus to vary the options and try a little bit of everything. They were quite well sized. The salad was very tasty, with potatoes, onion, parsley and black olives, the tuna was fresh which was important and everyone liked it.
- Crema de calabaza con trozos de jamón ibérico.
La crema de calabaza fue mi pedido y una buena opción, tenía trozos de pan tostado y jamón que le daba un toque delicioso, aunque se veía poco ya me sentía bastante llena y faltaba el segundo plato, pero mi estómago estaba preparado psicológicamente para todo esto.
The pumpkin cream was my order and a good choice, it had pieces of toasted bread and ham that gave it a delicious touch, although it looked little I already felt quite full and the second course was missing, but my stomach was psychologically prepared for all this.
- Coliflor gratinado.
Este fue el entrante estrella, a todos les pareció que fue lo más delicioso y mentira no es, lo gratinado era lo mejor y tenía buen sabor el coliflor, muy blando y sazonado perfectamente para cualquier gusto.
This was the star starter, everyone thought it was the most delicious and lie is not, the gratin was the best and had good flavor cauliflower, very soft and seasoned perfectly for any taste.
Primeros
En este momento ya casi todos estábamos contentos pero aún faltaba por degustar, cada quien escogió uno diferente del menú, excepto una amiga que escogió su plato normal de la carta.
- Cochinillo con patatas y pimientos.
Este era uno de los más ricos y más esperados ya que como el cochinillo es el plato típico y estaban a la expectativa de tal, traía una cama de patatas fritas y pimientos asados. Para mi gusto estaba bastante bien pero no soy muy fan de la fritura así que le dí un 7/10.
At this point almost all of us were happy but we still had to taste, everyone chose a different dish from the menu, except for a friend who chose her normal dish from the menu.
This was one of the tastiest and most awaited since the suckling pig is the typical dish and they were expecting it, it came with a bed of french fries and roasted peppers. For my taste it was quite good but I am not a fan of fried food so I gave it a 7/10.
- Dorada con verduras.
Parte del menú incluía una opción de mar, así que mi suegra se encargó de probar el pescado que es una de sus comidas favoritas y esta dorada en una cama de vegetales estaba muy rico y fue una muy buena opción según ella, estaba a buen sabor y quedo satisfecha.
Part of the menu included a seafood option, so my mother-in-law took it upon herself to try the fish which is one of her favorite foods and this sea bream on a bed of vegetables was very tasty and a very good choice according to her, it tasted good and she was satisfied.
- Entrecot con patatas.
Este era uno de los que no formaba parte del menú, era un entrecot muy bien hecho con patatas y puedo decir que estaba super bueno, el punto era perfecto para mi y acompañado de un buen vino fue la combinación perfecta.
This was one of those that was not part of the menu, it was a very well done steak with potatoes and I can say that it was super good, the point was perfect for me and accompanied by a good wine was the perfect combination.
- Hamburguesa San Clemente.
The San Clemente burger is another of the most requested dishes in this place, the meat was very well seasoned with fresh herbs and has a perfect medium point that gives it a spectacular flavor for just being a simple burger, accompanied by potatoes and a good nestea.
- Calderete de cordero con patatas.
Este fue un plato ordenado por 3, mi novio, mi mama y yo. Se veía en la descripción del menú muy apetitoso y le atinó. El guiso del calderete estaba SUPER BUENO, así, en mayúsculas porque se lo merece. Yo aunque no soy muy fan de la comida picante, este tenía un toque soportable que le daba buen sabor. Le doy un 10/10 porque lo volvería a pedir sin duda.
This was a dish ordered by 3, my boyfriend, my mom and me. It looked very appetizing in the menu description and it was spot on. The calderete stew was SUPER GOOD, that's right, in capital letters because it deserves it. Although I'm not a big fan of spicy food, this one had a bearable touch that gave it a good flavor. I give it a 10/10 because I would definitely order it again.
Postres.
los postres fue lo más esperado, porque aunque estábamos que explotáramos de lo llenos, no se puede ir sin probar algo dulce luego de la comida. Pedimos 3 para compartir entre todos y tener ideas para compartir nuestras degustaciones.
El primero fue el flan que estaba muy rico, pero no era mas que solo flan de huevo. Me pareció rico pero lo normal, a pesar de que soy muy fan del quesillo que es un postre Venezolano muy similar, este no me atrapó tanto.
The desserts were the most awaited, because even though we were bursting at the seams from being so full, you can't leave without trying something sweet after the meal. We ordered 3 to share among all of us and to have ideas to share our tastings.
The first was the flan which was very tasty, but it was just egg flan. I thought it was tasty but the usual, even though I'm a big fan of quesillo which is a very similar Venezuelan dessert, this one didn't grab me as much.
- Flan de huevo.
El helado de vainilla, a pesar de ser un postre normal, tenía un sabor muy bueno, era casero y traía dos barquillos para decorar como topping.
The vanilla ice cream, despite being a normal dessert, tasted very good, was homemade and came with two wafers to decorate as topping.
- Helado de vainilla.
Uno de mis favoritos y que le tenía mucha ilusión porque siempre pido helados de este sabor, era la tarta de la abuela, estaba super rica y muy bien hecha, las capas de galleta con chocolate estaban muy bien distribuidas, un 20/10, recomendadísima.
One of my favorites and that I was very excited because I always ask for ice cream of this flavor, was the grandmother's cake, it was super rich and very well done, the layers of chocolate chip cookies were very well distributed, a 20/10, highly recommended.
- Tarta de la abuela.
Este fue otro que no se quedó atrás, a quién no le gusta un buen tiramisú? puedo recomendar muy pocos pero este estaba muy delicioso, suave y el bizcocho muy bien impregnado de café. Excelente!

Mi conclusión fue que, a pesar de que no comimos cochinillo, que fue el principal platillo para nuestra visita al restaurante, Todo lo que ordenamos estaba exquisito y fue una buena decisión la selección del lugar. Volvería pero esta vez a probar el platillo típico, que estoy segura que está super deliciosa llevándome por los demás platillos. Gracias por leer.
My conclusion was that, although we did not eat suckling pig, which was the main dish for our visit to the restaurant, everything we ordered was exquisite and it was a good decision to choose the place.
