SYG Kopi, is strategically located at the city center of Ipoh Perak, northern region of the peninsular of Malaysia. This place is already well known for its good food, street arts and famous hilly scenary.

Owner of the shop is soft spoken person and often helped on the floor serving customers. I didn't have a chance to ask what does SYG stands for, judging by the lion logo, I bet it has something to do with Singapore, considering majority of their menu involved with Singaporean recipes.

Ipoh is famously known by their signature "white" coffee. Technically, it's not much different than a milk coffee, but roasting coffee with condensed milk and caramelized coffee bean is probably one of the best thing can happen.

There's even wall art being drawn on the glass wall which you can see it from both side of the window glasses.

The famous white brew is extremely creamy. The locals like to be served WITH milk. You can order without milk. If you're lactose intolerant, please mention "without", because in Malaysia, coffee by default is served with milk and sugar.

We ordered set lunch, therefore the drinks are entitled. Since mom doesn't want any of those drinks, I got myself an iced lemon tea.

Me and mom having a good time after visiting dad's grave. The food menu is a stack of phone book, I did took pictures for a few pages, but I wouldn't waste too much space uploading them.

This is a corner shop and it's very spacious. The front part of the restaurant seems to be an event space, we also spotted some live streaming equipment. Maybe it's for the convenient of TikTokers to do Livestream for their restaurant.

layoit of the restaurant is based on the old colonial buildings. The entire restaurant is being modernized. The people who work there are around my age, probably these couples are BFF that started a business together.

whilst waiting for the preparation of my food, I took a sip of their coffee. It was rich and extremely creamy. For some reason, it's temperature makes it feels like you're having a romantic kiss. OMG, the sip almost turned into a bottoms up 🤪 be extremely careful sipping their coffee, open your eyes and measure your pleasures!

My dish is served, a Singapore chickenchop rice with black pepper sauce simmer with lemongrass. The chicken is extremely tender(not mushy), and the sauce is slightly spicy. Easy to go down. Dude, for the price of less than RM15, a main dish and a coffee, this is the price of steal!

Mom got a bowl of fri|d noodle and I took the iced lemon tea, which cost only 9.80. total bill came to 25 bucks include tax. For your conversion, that's $3.50 🤪 kudos to the good food and the extremely reasonable price tag. I will definitely come back again, together with the entire family.
