"For the love of money is the root of all evil," and "Ye cannot serve God and mammon"-- even if the money/mammon is Bitcoin. Christ, being the Head of the Church, settled this long ago, so that's a blasphemy in the context of a church.
You are right, but Bitcoin could be a more fair money. For sure it enables ordinary people to be their own bank. And in future getting rid of the banks and their power would make the world a little less evil!
Indeed. But remember: "Love not the world, nor the things in the world, for if any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." Bitcoin, good as it is, falls into those "things." It is not to be worshiped, venerated, praised, or loved in the sense God is.
