Hello everyone! One of my happiest moments as a mother is being able to go out and enjoy simple food trips with my daughter and niece. Life can become very busy and tiring, especially when you are already balancing responsibilities at home and work. That is why I truly treasure these simple bonding moments with them. Seeing their smiles and excitement instantly removes my stress. They are truly my happy pills. Their smile has a magic to relieve my stress.
We decided to go to the city for a little break. As a mom, I always feel happy whenever I can give my child simple experiences outside our usual routine. Before going to the park, we stopped first to buy snacks because the kids were already excited and hungry. Of course, they immediately asked for milk tea, their favorite treat whenever we go outside. Even if it is only once in a while, I love spoiling them with small things that make them genuinely happy.
We tried the trending Thai specialty milk tea with cream cheese that many people in our area have been talking about. The kids loved it because it was sweet and creamy. Meanwhile, I could not stop laughing because for me, it was already too sweet. Maybe this is really part of getting older as a mom.
Before, I also loved super sweet drinks, but now my taste is becoming simpler.
I also ordered sushi, which is my sister’s favorite, while I chose the special ensaymada because I am still a batang 1990’s who loves bread and simple snacks. Of course, fries were also included because kids will never say no to fries. There were so many food choices around us, and honestly, we all enjoyed trying different foods together.
After eating, we went to the park and watched the kids happily play. As a mother, moments like these are very precious. Watching my daughter laugh freely while enjoying her childhood gives me a different kind of happiness that money cannot buy. Sometimes, mothers may feel tired from daily responsibilities, but simple bonding moments with our children remind us why we keep working hard every day.
At the end of the day, we went home with full stomachs and happy hearts. I realized that motherhood is not always about grand vacations or expensive things. Sometimes, happiness can simply be found in a cup of milk tea, shared fries, laughter in the park, and precious time spent with the people we love most.
