Vince is actually German, but one of his children resides in Australia. We really enjoyed visiting with him.

As for my gal, she always texts me when she's going to be late or not show. I used to text back, 'no worries', but I don't do that any longer. The doc is aware and I think he's planning on speaking with her. I refuse to deal with this because he hired her; I had misgivings from the beginning even before she came to work for the first day. I hate to see anyone lose a job before Christmas, and I'm not sure if he's to that point yet. Fortunately, I've documented everything in a post a little over a week ago and finally screenshot it for reference because he keeps forgetting, lol! He may wait until the end of the year to do anything, maybe in the hopes she will redeem herself. She could, but man, she's going to have to really work at it. I'm doubtful she can be on time. She had told me she forgot she needed gas on Friday, but she also walked in with a Starbucks coffee, and knowing where she lives, I know which Starbucks she went to, and it's a busy one! Hence the reason she was as late as she was.
