Estoy probando nuevos materiales para hacer pulseras, he comprado un hilo de Nylon elástico para bisutería, también compré unas cuentas muy curiosas. Siempre he sido muy fan del Ojo Turco y todo lo que encierra tras él como amuleto de protección contra la envidia, las malas energías y el mal de ojo, por mucha superstición que sea, me encanta su forma y sus colores, compre unos dijes o apliques y aun no puedo creer que sean tan costosos.
Aproveché también las cuentas que tengo en casa para decorar.
Colección Ojo Turco es una serie de pulseras que hice inspirada en los colores de esas cuentas, que pueda ponérmelas todas y se vean hermosas, armónicas y combinadas.
El Hilo de nylon elástico es estupendo para las pulseras, se hacen rápido y son muy cómodas de colocar y quitar, creo que me está gustando más que tejer pulseras o usar broches.

I am trying new materials to make bracelets, I bought some elastic Nylon thread for costume jewelry, I also bought some very curious beads. I have always been a fan of the Turkish Eye and all that is behind it as an amulet of protection against envy, bad energies and the evil eye, for much superstition that is, I love its shape and colors, buy some charms or appliques and still can not believe they are so expensive.
I also took advantage of the beads I have at home to decorate.
Turkish Eye Collection is a series of bracelets I made inspired by the colors of those beads, so I can wear them all and they look beautiful, harmonic and combined.
The elastic nylon thread is great for the bracelets, they are quick to make and very comfortable to put on and take off, I think I'm liking it more than weaving bracelets or using brooches.

Corto el hilo del tamaño apropiado para mi muñeca y que me alcance para hacer un nudo con comodidad.
Comienzo por la parte central, la seguidilla de las cuentas son blanco, azul, blanco.
Luego introduje la mano de Fátima y coloqué la seguidilla de cuentas: blanco, azul y blanco.
Para terminar el grupo de cada lado coloqué una piedra ojo turco.

I cut the thread to the appropriate size for my wrist so that I can comfortably tie a knot.
I start with the central part, the string of beads are white, blue, white.
Then I introduced Fatima's hand and placed the string of beads: white, blue and white.
To finish the group on each side I placed a Turkish eye stone.

Repite el primer paso, la seguidilla de las cuentas: Blanco, azul, blanco de cada extremo.
Cierra colocando una cuenta ojo turco de cada lado.

La seguidilla se repite hasta completar la medida de la muñeca, en mi caso no se llevó muchas cuentas ¡Jajajaja!
Para el final, en un extremo dejas la seguidilla de cuentas: blanco, azul y blanco, el otro repites la operación pero cierras con un ojo turco, de manera que cuando unas los extremos se verá igual.
Toma las puntas del hilo, estira un poco y realiza un nudo sencillo, yo quemé un poco el nudo con mucho cuidado para sellar.
Corta el hilo excedente y listo, es muy fácil hacer pulseras con el hilo de nylon elástico.
Me ha encantado esta experiencia, es cómoda, ligera, a la medida y queda bien hecha.

For the end, at one end you leave the string of beads: white, blue and white, the other you repeat the operation but close with a Turkish eye, so that when you join the ends it will look the same.
Take the ends of the thread, stretch a little and make a simple knot, I burned the knot very carefully to seal it.
Cut the excess thread and that's it, it's very easy to make bracelets with the elastic nylon thread.
I loved this experience, it's comfortable, light, custom made and looks great.
