The moon is quite big... for us to reach its core its still quite an impossible thing.

I suspect the only way to "blow it up" (not quite blow up, but probably make it not possible to visit) is if we start building nuclear reactors under the moon's crust and then for some reason, they blow up. Over the surface, if they blow up is not a big deal, because most of the radiation will just vanish into space.
