Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am once again joining the weekly contest
Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Curry. This is my first recipe using curry, it seems unbelievable, but that's how it is, that's why I had to buy this condiment in one of my favorite supermarkets, the star of this contest
I had been wanting to eat sheep or mutton, as it is also known, for months. For this stew I added potatoes and carrots, I used spices such as dried oregano, curry, which could not be missing, coconut milk and a cinnamon stick, which brings a slight sweet and citrus flavor, which highlights the curry, besides flavoring the food. The recipe is quite simple, you can substitute the coconut milk for cream, but for reasons of economy I opted for vegetable milk. The taste of the stew exceeded my expectations and I took advantage of this recipe to kill a craving.
Ingredients
- 220 grams of sheep or mutton meat
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 potato of 140 grs
- 1 carrot of 50 grs
- 40 grs red paprika
- 40 grams of white onion
- 1 hot bell pepper, 13 grs
- 25 grams of leek or leek garlic
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 teaspoons curry
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 6 capers
- 5 pitted olives
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoons de dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil

Preparation
1.-. Cut the sheep pieces even smaller.

2.-. Season the sheep meat with salt and pepper to taste.

3.- In a pot or pan, add two tablespoons of oil and seal the meat. Once ready, place it in a bowl and set aside.

4.- Remove the skin of the garlic and the onion, cut everything into small pieces, previously washing the onion. We put them to fry in the same pot where we sealed the meat. Let them wilt a little.

5.- Wash and cut the chili bell pepper and the garlic, add it to the pot together with the onion and garlic. Add the cup of beef broth and cut the red pepper that we will also add to the pan.

6.- Wash the potato and the carrot, remove the skin, wash them again and cut the carrot into small squares and the potato into julienne strips. We add them to the pot and also the sheep meat.

7.- Add the star seasoning of this recipe, the curry, also the dried oregano, the cinnamon stick and season with salt to taste. Mix and add the capers and olives.

8.- Dissolve the wheat flour in the coconut milk and add it to the stew. Let it cook for about 5 minutes and turn off the heat.

This dish was delicious, I accompanied it with rice that I cooked with a few grams of jojoto to take advantage of all that sauce.

I hope you liked it, this has been my participation in Hive Top Chef competition. See you another time.
