True Friendship Is Worth Gratefulness
First and foremost, I would like to say thank you to the most high for giving me this kind of friends. Truly a blessing to have people in my life who would stick with me no matter what, through thick and thin. Fighting for friendship is worth all the treasure that I always cherish each moment we get together. These friends motivate me to hang on to life.
Knowing how special it is to stand next to those who know your struggle, weakness, and, most especially, strength makes it worthwhile to speak of such people in prayer. Together, it becomes much easier to bear. They know everything because I made them know everything. It became another day showing how lucky I am to have such friends.
Lunch Date at Jollibee
Jollibee Gaisano Bogo was our lunch venue with dear friends today. It is one of our common fast-food destinations in the area. Right beside the enticing chicken, it is delicious to the last lick.
For one thing, whenever we have a chance to be together, we will always go for Jollibee because of glowing ambiance, that dim memory making it all the more priceless charm of long lines, shared plates, laughter, and perhaps anything and everything in between in the brightly-lit circumstance of a restaurant is something we came to realize the value of with time. Strong gusts of winds may suddenly appear; however, somehow, our storms are either quelled or dimmed to be heard out loud against those days that we purposely left aside to relish every single bit of our moments.
What We Like About Jollibee
Food is always the reason that makes everything worth doing. This would be Jollibee, extra Filipino, and nothing beats the taste of home. Crispy Chickenjoy, sweet and savory Jolly Spaghetti, and filling Burger Steak are our reasons to come back. This food brings back so many memories of our awesome time together. Not all friends are like them. Some will treat you like you are plain stupid; they are the ones who reminded me not to generalize since I got them on my side.
Chickenjoy has been regarded as the finest bonding with my friends and me. Spicy chicken for lunch? Why not? It has never let us down no matter how many times we crave it. Paired with juicy gravy, it feels like home. A place where you belong. Also, the ambiance in Jollibee is cheerful and homey!
Cherishing Simple Moments
While today was a wonderful lunch, it reminded me that not all the best times in life are hardships and challenges. Sometimes, there's a laughter, also. Sometimes, it's the simplest things: a meal, a few laughs picked out of random jokes, or simply being around the people who matter the most to you.
During these times when it is really fast, we all get lost being tired with responsibilities and deadlines and personal struggles, but days like these slow me down to remind me of small things and cherish those people around me. After all, it is not about big victories or milestones in life, it is truly the moments made special in life that become meaningful through the journey.
