During our Budapest trip last Monday. We made a special stop for our "Magic Restaurant " After our morning stroll around the beautiful city. We deserve a special treat. Of course we were really hungry. We went to the Magic Budapest. It’s inspired by the Harry Potter Film. The place is cozy, dim, walls full of photos.
Before going there, my husband booked a reservation days before we went to Budapest. When we were in the restaurant, we waited for a few minutes because they needed to clean our table. The place was fully booked meaning the food was delicious and the place is unique.
When the staff called and we walked in. It's really a unique restaurant and still lots of people are dining inside. We're ready to place an order. I really don't know what to order at first because they have too much to offer. So I let my husband choose for me and for Aya of course its chicken and fries. While waiting for our food, we talked about what we will do in the afternoon. Because a one day trip to Budapest is not enough.
The staff came, and he gave us the drinks. Before serving our drinks. The waiter smiled and asked, “Do you know any magic spells from Harry Potter?” Without any hesitation, Ayas proudly said, “Bippity-Boppity-Boo!” — and we were laughing even on the other table. Aya’s innocence was so pure, so real. She hasn’t even seen the Harry Potter movies its different magic spells she watch.. It’s Cinderella.
Then we say together the magic spell “Wingardium Leviosa”. It's a magical moment and a cute moment for Aya. The waiter poured water into a black bowl then suddenly the smoke came out. It's magic! Then the spell really worked. We were so amazed by the magic thick. It’s a different experience in the restaurant.
Drinks are so delicious.
Beauty Elixir for my husband with kiwi, green apple and mint.
Liquid Luck for Aya with elderflower, orange and lime.
And mine is Love Potion with strawberry, raspberry and cotton candy.
Our food takes time, so we check what's in their desert.
Finally our food came and we were ready to eat .
Dark Burger for my husband.
Charmed boar is mine.
magical knowledge for Aya.
We have time to enjoy our food and after that dessert.
For Aya she has Delicacies of the Sorcerer's Apprentice.
And I have Frozen.
That's a wrap for today. Our lunch adventure in Budapest came to a close. Every dish we tried was prepared thoughtfully, all were delicious and it served with a touch of magic. The staff were all busy but they gave us a wonderful experience. Everything was all perfect. It’s another memory for us that has a magical experience. Now we all know why the place has lots of people to dine in. We left the restaurant with a happy tummy and big smiles.
