En esta oportunidad quiero contarles un poco de como pasé esta festividad junto a mi familia. Mientras les muestro el proceso de los Sorrentinos que comimos. 🤗
This time I want to tell you a little bit about how I spent this holiday with my family. While I show you the process of the Sorrentinos we ate. 🤗

Voy a ser honesto con ustedes, gran parte de mi vida no supe que representaba el día de Pascua. Hasta la adolescencia, pensaba que era una festividad donde solo se comen huevos de chocolate y se reúnen en familia para almorzar o cenar juntos. Obviamente, al ser mayor entendí el trasfondo religioso y espiritual. Y aunque en lo personal, me considero agnóstico, este día es una excusa perfecta para comer rico y encontrarse con los seres queridos.
I'll be honest with you, for most of my life I didn't know what Easter represented. Until I was a teenager, I thought it was a holiday where you just eat chocolate eggs and gather as a family for lunch or dinner together. Obviously, as I got older I understood the religious and spiritual background. And although I personally consider myself an agnostic, this day is a perfect excuse to eat delicious food and meet with loved ones.

Este año no hubo chocolate en mi casa por 2 motivos. Primero, están demasiado caros. 🤣 Segundo, el clima no ayudaba. El problema que tenemos en esta parte del mundo, es que Pascua cae en la transición de verano a otoño. Por lo que puede que un año toque pasarlo en pantalones cortos y remeras y otro año toque pasarlo con camperas y bufandas. En esta oportunidad, estuvo pesado y algo caluroso, por lo que optamos por comprar helado. Que para mí, era más adecuado al clima.
This year there was no chocolate in my house for 2 reasons. First, they are too expensive. 🤣 Second, the weather didn't help. The problem we have in this part of the world, is that Easter falls in the transition from summer to fall. So it may be one year to spend it in shorts and t-shirts and another year to spend it in jackets and scarves. This time, it was heavy and a bit hot, so we opted to buy ice cream. Which, for me, was more suitable for the weather.

Por suerte no hacía tanto calor como para evitar las pastas. Por lo que decidimos hacer Sorrentinos (son como unos ravioles más grandes de lo normal) con salsa Bolognesa para almorzar con la familia. Mi mamá hacía los Sorrentinos y yo la salsa. n.n
Luckily it was not hot enough to avoid pasta. So we decided to make Sorrentinos (they are like larger than normal ravioli) with Bolognese sauce for lunch with the family. My mom made the Sorrentinos and I made the sauce. n.n
Me considero fanático de las pastas. Realmente, podría vivir a base de spaghetti, cappelletti y ñoquis. Se podría decir que para mí la pasta es como el asado para muchos argentinos. 🤣
I consider myself a pasta fanatic. Actually, I could live on spaghetti, cappelletti and gnocchi. You could say that for me pasta is like asado for many Argentines. 🤣

Por suerte el día resultó mejor de lo que esperaba. Fue tranquilo y sin discusiones. Por suerte no hubo momentos tensos como en situaciones anteriores. No sé en sus familias, pero en la mía a veces parece que esperan fechas importantes para armar peleas. 😅
Luckily the day turned out better than I expected. It was calm and without arguments. Luckily there were no tense moments like in previous situations. I don't know about your families, but in mine sometimes it seems that they wait for important dates to start fights. 😅
Lo más importante, comí como un desgraciadado jaja. Tengo la suerte y la fortuna de que puedo comer en grandes cantidades y no subir de peso. Sin exagerar comí 4 platos de Sorrentintinos y los demás me veían con asombro jaja. Yo soy simple, comida rica = Lean feliz.
Most importantly, I ate like a bastard haha. I am lucky and fortunate that I can eat in large quantities and not gain weight. Without exaggeration I ate 4 plates of Sorrentintinos and others looked at me in awe haha. I'm simple, rich food = Lean happy.

En conclusión, fue un día muy agradable en todos los sentidos. No me puedo quejar. Conseguí lo que quería, un día tranquilo junto a mi familia y comida rica. No pido, ni necesito más para disfrutar esta festividad. Lo único, espero que el año que viene haya chocolate, fue lo único que me faltó.
In conclusion, it was a very pleasant day in every way. I can't complain. I got what I wanted, a quiet day with my family and delicious food. I do not ask, nor do I need more to enjoy this holiday. The only thing, I hope that next year there will be chocolate, it was the only thing I missed.
