Hello, dear hivers!! Welcome back to MIYA’s blog!! 💕 Yesterday was our pictorial day, and luckily, our schedule was in the afternoon, so I had plenty of time to prepare myself, hehe. I bathed at 12 noon and got completely dressed by 12:30. I didn't eat lunch because I was still full from eating breakfast (I woke up at 9 a.m. and ate at 10 a.m.). I reminded myself that I had to start my makeup immediately or I would be late! I didn't put heavy makeup though, because it's only for our Grade 11 recognition, not graduation. And also, my skin is very sensitive, and lots of makeup makes it itch or become irritated. So I went for a light look instead by using powder, eyeshadow, some blush, mascara, and lipstick.
By 1 p.m., I requested my mom to take me to school immediately because our class photo with our adviser was at 1:30. and I couldn't miss it again! (I already missed our class photo last time, and I vowed that it won't happen again! :<)
When I got to school, I quickly go to our room. Our teacher instructed us to wait for a moment because the junior high school students were still taking their pictorial. There was still one batch left, so I quickly did a retouch of my makeup since it was soooo hot outside, like for reaaaaal. And finally, it was our turn. We were assembled alphabetically, and thank goodness, my last name isn't that far down the list. But naturally, I waited for my close friend too, cute HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
(this picture was taken by my classmate, I will upload the real photo taken by our photographer in my next blog!)
Once we each had our individual photos, we then took for our class photo with our one and only amazing adviser, Mrs. Cha. She's not only our adviser, but one of the nicest and most compassionate teachers I have ever had. She always treated us like we were her own children, making us feel valued and loved. I'm so glad she'll still be our Grade 12 subject teacher, but I also know I'll miss this section so much. Descartes, that is full of memories, laughs, and friendship that makes every moment better take place. AAAAAAAA I LOVEEEEE MA'AM CHA AND DSCARTES SO SO SOOOO MUCH !! ❤️🩹
After all had been done, it was time to go home, but first, we go to Dfrost to get some ice cream. The weather today was so confusing though, earlier it was extremely hot and it made us weak, and then all of a sudden it got cloudy as if it could rain any time. And of course ice cream just seemed like the perfect option! At Dfrost,we saw some of our classmates who were also there, so we ended up taking photos and a couple of boomerangs for Instagram too!
As the day ended, I couldn't help but think about how quickly time is passing. Like already, in a few months, I'll be in Grade 12. I wish I could spend more time with Descartes, our laughter, our mess, our memories that won't fade away. I know I'll miss all about this school year soooo much. And of course, I thank God for being with me every single day. I’ve come this far because of Him. All of this happened because He never left my side. I'm so grateful, and I’ll always trust His plans for me. ALL BECAUSE OF HIM !! ☝️💞
