Focaccia ham and two cheese. ( ENG/ESP)

Good morning hivers how are you? Here I am with a very good but not very dietary recipe, as we call the fat and quick recipes or the ones you make with little time and what you have in the fridge! I often use puff pastry for convenience, I often don't have the time or energy to start making the focaccia dough by hand.

However for this recipe you will need:

  • 2 sheets of savory puff pastry
  • 250 grams of cooked ham
  • 90 grams of string cheese
  • 4 slices of cheddar
  • 6 tablespoons of olive oil

First we use two tablespoons of oil to oil a large baking tray, to help us brush it with a pastry brush. Then we take a sheet of puff pastry and spread it carefully and without tearing it over the entire pan.

A menudo uso hojaldre por conveniencia, a menudo no tengo el tiempo ni la energía para empezar a hacer la masa de focaccia a mano.

Sin embargo, para esta receta necesitarás:

  • 2 láminas de hojaldre salado
  • 250 gramos de jamón cocido
  • 90 gramos de queso en tiras
  • 4 rebanadas de queso cheddar
  • 6 cucharadas de aceite de oliva

Primero utilizamos dos cucharadas de aceite para engrasar una bandeja de horno grande, para ayudarnos a pincelarla con una brocha de repostería. Luego cogemos una lámina de hojaldre y la extendemos con cuidado y sin romperla por todo el molde.

We take the other sheet of puff pastry and cover everything, being careful to cover the entire surface of the pan and the puff pastry thoroughly, pierce the top of the future focaccia with a knife to facilitate cooking and then oil with the last two spoons of oil. Preheat the oven at 200 for ten minutes and then put the pan in the oven and let it cook for about half an hour, after which it will be ready, a nice focaccia with a stringy filling of double cheeses, you can choose which part to eat or take a central slice so you can both taste it the cheeses!!

Luego cogemos el jamón y ponemos las lonchas por todo el hojaldre, lo ponemos en dos capas para que el relleno quede más rico, cogemos el queso en tiras y lo cortamos en rodajas finas, ponemos las rodajas en una mitad del molde y luego abrimos la rodajas de queso cheddar y colócalas en la otra mitad, dividiéndolas si es necesario para que cubran toda su parte.

Ahora engrasamos con dos cucharadas generosas de aceite. Cogemos la otra lámina de hojaldre y lo cubrimos todo, con cuidado de cubrir bien toda la superficie del molde y el hojaldre, pinchamos la parte superior de la futura focaccia con un cuchillo para facilitar la cocción y luego engrasamos con las dos últimas cucharadas de aceite.

Precalentar el horno a 200 durante diez minutos y luego meter la sartén en el horno y dejar cocer media hora aproximadamente, después de lo cual estará lista, una rica focaccia con un relleno fibroso de doble queso, puedes elegir qué parte come o llévate una rebanada central para que ambos podáis saborear los quesos!!
