People make decisions and take actions that lead them to where they are today. Some good, while some are lessons. What's that one thing that happened or that one decision you made that made you achieve the level you currently have in life? What if that thing didn't happen?

Sort:

We live. We learn.

Well said..
We live, learn, unlearn and relearn..

Indeed.

Like you said, some good and some bad. We've all had to make either a big or a small decision at some point in life which definitely changes something. One of it for me is going back to school even after dropping out to care for my health.I'm not sure where I would have been now.

That was a very bold decision you made there. If it were some persons, they would have already given up in school and look for something else to do, maybe business or maybe learn a skill

Do you think that's the best decision you took? What if you learnt a skill or started a business?

Yes, it is.
That is not bad too, I can always learn. ATM I'm about learning a skill right now, and when I went to make inquiry about it, and I discussed with my boss, he was wowed to see I'm a graduate. That, ok it's own already set me apart. Also, if I had gone ahed to learn a..

... to learn a skill then, I might not have considered going to school anymore.

True sha. You made a point here. Had it been your learnt a skill and start making money with that skill, your mind set would be all about improving your income with that skill and going to school would not be in your agenda

This happens in the world we live in today, mostly in Nigeria. Many people learn skills, which is good, but then, they forget about school afterwards. That's when you'll start hearing the saying - "school na scam." it is very important to go to school first.

You gerrit
Learning a skill ain't bad, but when you learn a skill and you're also educated, it sets you apart.

Exactly 💯

Normal

Yeah, it was..sure.
Learning a skill or going into business wouldn't have been a bad decision too, but then I felt it's education first.

I think you made the perfect decision

Sure sir

Yep

Interesting question... sometimes one small decision can completely change the direction of our lives.

True. The decision doesn't necessarily need to be a big one.
What's that decision you made that changed the direction of things for you

For me, choosing to stay consistent and keep learning from experience has changed quite a lot over time. 😊

That's awesome. Experience is truly the best teacher

Absolutely... nothing teaches quite like experiencing it yourself. 😁

That decision would be trying to question ever single thing I'd been taught as a child.

From religion, personal relationships, politics, to education, I ask questions when things are unclear or expectations don't seem right. It has made me a more intelligent and grounded adult.

That's a very good thing to do. It's very important to question the knowledge and individual have about certain things, most especially religion, and some social norms..

For me it was not losing hope when I had issues in medical school I still continued and am grateful for where I am today.

Issues come, issues go, but the most important thing is that we continue no matter what. There's this quote from a singer - Jeriq, it says "Person wey give up, na person wey fuck up."

Definitely life moves on.

Normally

Several. One was terminating my PhD, another one was buying cryptos early.

Wow. That was a very bold step you took to terminate your PhD. Did you later went back for it?

No, never.

One decision that I'm so proud of is taking my skills seriously.
And it has made me realise that the difference between your today and tomorrow is in your hands. So do you and stay consistent.
