Hace unas semanas, durante la visita de mi amiga Celina al país, salimos de casa con la intención de ir todos juntos al cine, pero una vez allá, decidí no entrar, puesto que en esos días estaba con la ansiedad a millón y la sala estaba full y no me sentía cómoda, por lo que mi esposo y yo nos quedamos dando vueltas por el centro comercial mientras los chicos entraron con Celina y su hijo Gabriel.
Estuvimos caminando un buen rato, y finalmente decidimos pasar por la feria de la comida que fue remodelada hace poco y está realmente linda, y por supuesto al ver tanta comida deliciosa me dieron ganas de comer algo, aunque no era hora ni de almuerzo ni de cena, por lo que buscamos algo dulce, pero al darme cuenta que el precio de un dulce, era casi igual que comer una hamburguesa, decidimos mejor ir por una.
Mi primera opción fue KFC, sus hamburguesas de pollo krispy son deliciosas, pero la cola era enorme y la verdad no me gusta esperar, así que decidimos ir a Burger King, pero cuando miro hacia donde estaba me sorprendió que ya no estaba, y en su lugar había un nuevo local también de hamburguesas y decidimos ir a probar.
El lugar se llama Plan B y confieso que aunque he ido últimamente varias veces al Sambil no lo había visto, y creo que si no hubiese estado buscando Burguer King, no me hubiese enterado que estaba ahí. En fin, es un lugar de comida rápida en el que puedes encontrar una gran variedad de opciones, incluso tienen una hamburguesa especial para los que siguen la dieta Keto, lo que me pareció genial.
El lugar es bastante llamativo, y tiene dos colores que juntos, a mí me encantan, que son el negro y el rojo, y para suavizar un poco lo fuerte de ambos sus paredes están pintadas de blanco.
Cuenta con una barra donde haces tu pedido, y a diferencia de la mayoría de los lugares de este estilo, no te dan la comida de inmediato, así que no debes esperar parado en la barra, sino que te dan un dispositivo electrónico que vibra en cuanto la orden está lista, cosa que me parece genial.
Otra cosa que me gusta es que no comes en la feria como tal, pues este es un local aparte, y cuenta con dos áreas para comer distribuidas en dos niveles, nosotros escogimos el segundo nivel, ya que estaba solo, y ahí nos sentamos a esperar.
No puedo decir que es un lugar acogedor porque en realidad la decoración lo hacía sentir un poco frío, pero se debe al estilo industrial que le dieron y a una iluminación bastante fuerte, pero la verdad no me molestó y aproveché de tomar algunas fotos para compartirlas con ustedes.
Los precios de las hamburguesas van desde los 5 $ en adelante y tienen promociones para grupos grandes que pueden alcanzar los 40 $, en mi caso al ser la primera vez comiendo en este lugar, nos decidimos por una promoción donde ofrecían una hamburguesa de carne con queso chedar, salsas y pepinillos por 1,99 $, en este caso era solo la hamburguesa sin papas ni refresco, pero ya teníamos los refrescos que habíamos comprado pata el cine así que no nos importó.
Debo confesar que no les tenía mucha fe a estas hamburguesas, en principio por el precio, y en segundo lugar porque el local estaba prácticamente solo, así que pensé que muy posiblemente no eran buenas, pero probando es como se sabe, así que esperaba el momento de probarlas para descubrir qué tal estaban.
Por suerte no fue mucha la espera y cuando llegó José con las hamburguesas las probé de inmediato, y lo primero que debo decir es que son pequeñas, pero ya me lo imaginaba por el precio, la carne por su parte es bastante delgada, pero realmente con muchísimo sabor, la parte interior del pan estaba doradita y con sabor a mantequilla, este toque me encantó porque aporta otra capa de sabor al pan que a pesar de ser grueso no opacaba para nada el sabor de la carne y de cada uno de sus ingredientes.
Tenía una buena cantidad de pepinillos, no tres rueditas como suelen poner, sino que en toda la hamburguesa te encuentras con su delicioso sabor que mezclado con el chedar y el sabor de la carne la hacían realmente deliciosa, y la verdad me sorprendió por completo porque no me lo esperaba.
En conclusión, definitivamente este nuevo restaurante de comida rápida pasó la prueba, así que para una próxima oportunidad probaremos otras opciones porque ya pudimos constatar su calidad, así que por supuesto lo recomiendo.
A few weeks ago, during my friend Celina's visit to the country, we left home with the intention of going all together to the movies, but once there, I decided not to go in, since in those days I was with a million anxiety and the theater was full and I did not feel comfortable, so my husband and I stayed walking around the mall while the kids went in with Celina and her son Gabriel.
We were walking for a while, and finally decided to stop by the food fair that was recently remodeled and is really nice, and of course seeing so much delicious food made me want to eat something, although it was not lunch or dinner time, so we looked for something sweet, but realizing that the price of a sweet, was almost the same as eating a hamburger, we decided better to go for one.
My first choice was KFC, their krispy chicken burgers are delicious, but the line was huge and I really don't like to wait, so we decided to go to Burger King, but when I look to where I was I was surprised that it was no longer there, and instead there was a new burger place and we decided to try it.
The place is called Plan B and I confess that although I have been to the Sambil several times lately I had not seen it, and I think if I had not been looking for Burger King, I would not have known it was there. Anyway, it's a fast food place where you can find a wide variety of options, they even have a special burger for those who follow the Keto diet, which I thought was great.
The place is quite striking, and has two colors that together, I love, which are black and red, and to soften a little the strength of both its walls are painted white.
It has a bar where you place your order, and unlike most places of this style, they don't give you the food right away, so you don't have to wait standing at the bar, but they give you an electronic device that vibrates as soon as the order is ready, which I think is great.
Another thing I like is that you don't eat at the fair as such, because this is a separate place, and has two eating areas distributed on two levels, we chose the second level, since it was alone, and there we sat down to wait.
I can't say it's a cozy place because the decoration made it feel a bit cold, but that's due to the industrial style and the strong lighting, but it didn't bother me and I took the opportunity to take some pictures to share them with you.
The prices of the burgers range from 5 $ and up and they have promotions for large groups that can reach 40 $, in my case being the first time eating at this place, we decided on a promotion where they offered a beef burger with cheddar cheese, sauces and pickles for 1.99 $, in this case it was just the burger without fries or soda, but we already had the soft drinks we had bought for the movies so we did not mind.
I must confess that I did not have much faith in these burgers, firstly because of the price, and secondly because the place was practically alone, so I thought they might not be good, but tasting is how you know, so I was waiting for the moment to try them to find out how they were.
Luckily the wait was not long and when José arrived with the hamburgers I tried them immediately, and the first thing I must say is that they are small, but I imagined it because of the price, the meat is quite thin, but really with a lot of flavor, the inside of the bread was golden brown and buttery, I loved this touch because it adds another layer of flavor to the bread that despite being thick did not overshadow the flavor of the meat and each of its ingredients.
It had a good amount of pickles, not three little wheels as they usually put, but in the whole burger you find its delicious flavor that mixed with the cheddar and the flavor of the meat made it really delicious, and the truth surprised me completely because I did not expect it.
In conclusion, this new fast food restaurant definitely passed the test, so for a next opportunity we will try other options because we could already confirm its quality, so of course I recommend it.
