Hello everyone! How are you all my beloved Hiver’s ? I hope that all of you are in good health and in good condition.I am your Hiver friend @ronimarie82 ,I am proud to grow up in the Sub Saharan Mindanao in the Philippines. As you know me, I have two teenager’s and they would always be my priority in life. For today’s blog let me share with you our first time experiencing eating RAMEN in the famous Ramen house called Ramen Bari-Uma Jr. We ate Ramen before but this time the restaurant is near to us only few minutes drive.
It was a Saturday rainy day after my daughter’s received their school Certificate of Recognition being Top of the class and we just stayed home because it was raining.Saturday is a laundry day and general cleaning day. We share the house chores. My eldest does the laundry while my youngest does the cleaning and me does the cooking. Before lunch all tasks are done and it's time to relax and cellphone is the key,watching videos,visiting PEAKD AND THE HIVE Blog different communities. Then my youngest daughter told me that the rain had stopped. SO I looked outside and answered her yes the rain stopped at last. Out of the blue she told me, MAMA, can we go out and eat my sister and I favorite Ramen? Besides We deserved a treat for being top of the class.Her elder sister answered,,yes Mama; please give us a treat for we did our best in school. At first I was hesitant,but I told them that they would need to ask permission first from their Dad. They called their Dad and asked permission and he said YES. So then; we changed our clothes and prepared to leave.
Ramen is a famous Japanese noodle dish,it includes chinese -style wheat noodles served in broth.With a combination of a rich flavoured broth and often toppings of boiled egg,vegetables,meat and species. Though this is not our first time to eat Ramen, I am glad we tried this restaurant near us. HMM yeah! This is our 3rd time eating Ramen.
The thing that I love about Ramen is the ability of this Japanese noodle to warm my cold belly. This day it has been raining since morning and it only stops at 4PM so yes my belly and my entire body was so cold. And I realized that my daughter was right about eating RAMEN because it was so chilly.
Finally; we arrived at the RAMEN house. The staff greeted us and handed us the Menu. My eldest and my youngest daughter agreed they would have the same RAMEN while me and I would have rice with pork but all of us would share what we all have. We waited for about 45 minutes for our orders and while waiting we did chitchat.
As usual, my problem while eating Ramen was using the chopstick.Hmmm; I am not used to it. I was able to eat RAmen when I was old before we only ate instant noodles. I considered my daughters blessed because at their age they Ate in restaurants and in fast foods the things my sibling’s and I haven't experienced before. Mine you! I asked for a spoon and fork from the waiter so I could eat well.
We do prayer first to thank GOD for the blessing especially for the food and bless the food that we would eat. CHOWTIME!.. The food was great,it was very tasty, flavorful and it was really good comforting food for the cold season. It makes the 3 of us full and satisfied.Plus I have paid the rewards for studying well and being top of the class of my two daughters. This is our way of rewarding them treating them their favorite Ramen that way they would always strived to do more hard in school. A way of letting them know also that we loved them so much and we appreciate their efforts.
