Luego de algunas diligencias domingueras a Maykol y a mí nos llegó la hora de almuerzo en la calle, y en casa no había nada preparado así que decidimos buscar un sitio cerca donde estábamos que vendieran comida económica con el fin de resolver nuestro almuerzo, así que en esta oportunidad visitamos la Casa Chaufa, el cual se encuentra en la calle Cedeño justamente diagonal a Ebenezer, un lugar que no lleva mucho tiempo en el comercio pero si buenas recomendaciones, es por ello que Maykol y yo no dudamos en visitar este acogedor sitio.

🙋‍♀️ Hello beautiful people, happy day! I hope you are feeling great and have had great days, on this side of the screen all very well thank God. Wishing you a nice day filled with lots of laughter. After some Sunday errands Maykol and I had to have lunch on the street, and at home there was nothing prepared so we decided to look for a place near where we were that sold cheap food to be able to afford our lunch, so this time we visited the Casa Chaufa, which is located on Cedeño street just diagonal to Ebenezer, a place that has not been in business for long but with good recommendations, which is why Maykol and I did not hesitate to visit this cozy place.

Este arroz lo conocí por mi hermano, en una oportunidad llegó hacerlo en la casa ya que él estuvo en Perú, siendo este una receta popular de la gastronomía peruana. Maykol si no conocía este arroz aunque se puede confundir con el arroz chino, ambos aplican la técnica de fritar el arroz y algunos ingredientes básicos, más sin embargo el chaufa agrega elementos específicos a la cocina peruana (todo esto es explicado por mi hermano), y si aunque en apariencias se parezcan el sabor no es el mismo.

I got to know this rice from my brother, he once made it at home since he was in Peru, being this a popular recipe of Peruvian gastronomy. Maykol if I did not know this rice although it can be confused with Chinese rice, both apply the technique of frying the rice and some basic ingredients, however the chaufa adds specific elements to Peruvian cuisine (all this is explained by my brother), and although in appearances they look alike the taste is not the same.

En la causa del chaufa, tienen varias opciones desde muy económicas comenzando por solo vender la porción de arroz en 1$ o 2$, seguido de ofrecer un combo de 3$, el cual trae su respectiva porción de arroz más dos adicionales, entre esas adicionales ofrecen: papas fritas, alitas fritas, lumpia, totones, chorizo y otros… Para ello Maykol y yo decidimos escoger este combo, el escogió como adicionales lumpia y tostones, por mi parte escogí alita y papas fritas. Aunque el lugar estaba un poco full la atención fue de inmediata y no tuvimos que esperar tanto tiempo nuestro pedido. La porción me pareció súper considerable al precio, el tenía buena ración de papá y tostones y aunque solo era una alita en mi plato estaba muy gustosa.

For this Maykol and I decided to choose this combo, he chose as additional lumpia and tostones, for my part I chose wing and fries. Although the place was a little crowded, the service was immediate and we didn't have to wait so long for our order. The portion seemed to me to be very considerable for the price, he had a good portion of dad and tostones and although it was only a wing on my plate it was very tasty.

El lugar es muy acogedor perfecto para disfrutar de un buen almuerzo lo mejor que es una opción muy económica, con el refresco de 1litro terminamos cancelando 7$. En su menú también se encuentran otros platos de 5$ o 6$ con otras especialidades, el que nosotros escogimos estaba muy delicioso y la mejor parte es que quedamos satisfechos.

The place is very cozy and perfect to enjoy a good lunch, the best part is that it is a very economical option, with the 1 liter soda we ended up paying 7$. In their menu you can also find other dishes for 5$ or 6$ with other specialties, the one we chose was very delicious and the best part is that we were satisfied.
