I am on the road in the big city right now and bringing you a little beer Saturday via @ecency!
Plenty of fun on tap for this weekend away but I always like to sneak in a visit to one of my favourite breweries. Great Lakes Brewery is partially responsible for my slide into IPA obsession so I have to stop in and check out what’s new.
They have lived in this building as long as I have known about them and they saved some executive parking for me right out front.
Neat truck takes their shipments out to my neck of the woods. Brewed for me right here in Ontario!
I am usually in and out of the bottle shop but today I had a little time to hang out for a couple fresh pints. My brother opted for a cream ale which is the frothy and slightly darker one in the back. They had my favourite Meanwhile in Moxee IPA so I didn’t hesitate. Reminded me why I love it much with the perfect balance of sweet and hoppy as I enjoy in New England ipas.
A quick peek at the fridge in the bottle shop showed a bounty of the freshest beer for me to bring home to enjoy later.
I snagged a couple heavy ones and a couple new ones for a little variety. Might just have to tear into them and review a couple next #beersaturday!
I even grabbed a case of sunnyside to bring home for a friend.
