Exquisite and Creamy Coffee Flan with Milk / Exquisito y Cremoso Flan de Café con Leche

Greetings, beautiful foodie community 😊 Happy start to the week!

I've been a fan of Coffee and Milk since I was little, but my mother got us used to drinking it every morning, even before breakfast, and it will always be one of my favorite coffee drinks 👌

But this time I went a little further by making this version of Café con Leche, but in a delicious dessert, yes, in an exquisite and refreshing Flan.





I assure you that this recipe is finger-licking good. I think what I liked most about this recipe is its very smooth, creamy texture and just the right touch of sweetener. However, if you want it sweeter or milder, just add more or less sugar.

It's a dessert to enjoy after a delicious lunch or in the afternoon when you feel like having a snack. The truth is, if you're one of those die-hard coffee lovers, I assure you this dessert will become one of your favorites 😉

Now I invite you to make this exquisite Flan together.

Ingredients:

For the caramel:

  • 4 tablespoons of grated panela or brown sugar.
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of water.

Flan mix:

  • 500 ml of black coffee prepared to your liking.
  • 350 ml of evaporated milk; you can use regular milk or plant-based milk.
  • 10 grams of unflavored powdered gelatin.
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar, or other granulated sweetener.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, optional.
    Mold: 15 cm in diameter.



Let's get to the preparation:

Our coffee; it should be freshly brewed and hot.

Add the 10 grams of gelatin and mix until the gelatin dissolves well.


Once this is done, add the evaporated milk.

Add the sugar and vanilla extract.



Combine everything together very well using a hand mixer and set aside.


Now we're ready to make the caramel, and it's really quite simple.

In a saucepan, add the 4 tablespoons of sweetener we're going to use. I used grated panela (panela), and add the 1.5 tablespoons of water.

Heat on the stove over medium heat until bubbles begin to form. At that point, our caramel is ready.

Now, pour it into your flan mold and spread the caramel on the bottom and around the sides.

Then we pour our Coffee with Milk mixture into the mold containing the caramel.



We put it in the refrigerator overnight to ensure our flan sets well.

The next day I unmolded my flan, and look how beautiful it looks! 😍 It's wobbly, that's how it should be.

Now we just serve and enjoy! This is truly delicious, so creamy, refreshing, and very light. 👌 Highly recommended.

Desde muy pequeña he sido amante del Café con Leche, pero es que mi madre nos acostumbró a tomarlo todas las mañana incluso antes de desayunar, y siempre será una de mis bebidas de café preferida 👌

Pero esta vez fui un poco más allá haciendo esta versión de café con Leche pero en un delicioso postre, si, en un exquisito y refrescante Flan.





Les aseguro que esta receta está para chuparse los dedos, creo que lo que más me ha gustado de esta receta es su textura cremosa muy suave, y con el justo toque de endulzante, aunque si lo deseas más o menos dulce, solo integra más o menos Azúcar.

Es un postre para disfrutarlo después de un rico almuerzo o en la tarde cuando te apetezca merendar algo, lo cierto es que si eres uno de esos amantes empedernidos del Café, te aseguro que este postre se convertirá en uno de tus favoritos 😉

Ahora te invito a que juntos hagamos este exquisito Flan.

Ingredientes:

Para el caramelo:

  • 4 Cucharadas de Panela Rallada o Azúcar Moscabado.
  • 1 Cucharada y media de Agua.

Mezcla para el Flan:

  • 500 Ml de Café negro preparado a tu gusto.
  • 350Ml de Leche Evaporada, puedes usar Leche común o Bebida Vegetal.
  • 10 Gramos de Gelatina en polvo sin sabor.
  • 4 Cucharadas de Azúcar, o otro endulzante granulado.
  • 1 Cucharadita de extracto de Vainilla, opcional.
    Molde: 15 Cm de Diámetro.


Vamos con la Preparación:

Nuestro Café debe estar recién hecho y caliente.

Le vamos a agregar los 10 gramos de Gelatina y vamos a mezclar tratando de que la Gelatina se disuelva muy bien.


Hecho esto, incorporamos la Leche Evaporada.

Añadimos el Azúcar y el extracto de Vainilla.



Integramos todo muy bien usando un batidor manual y reservamos.


Ahora nos disponemos hacer el caramelo y la verdad es muy sencillo.

En una olla echamos las 4 cucharadas de endulzante que vamos a usar, yo he usado Panela rallada, y le agregamos la cucharada y media de Agua.

Montamos en la cocina a fuego medio hasta que veamos que empieza a salir como especie de Burbujas, en ese momento nuestro caramelo está listo.

Ahora lo vertemos en nuestro molde para Flan y esparcimos el caramelo en el fondo y por las paredes.

Luego vertemos nuestra mezcla de Café con Leche al molde que tiene el caramelo.



Metemos al refrigerador de un día para el otro, esto es para asegurarnos de que nuestro Flan cuaje bien.

Al siguiente día desmolde mi Flan y miren que hermoso luce 😍 el queda tembloroso, así debe quedar.

¡Ahora solo servimos y disfrutamos! realmente esto es una delicia, es tan cremoso, además refrescante y muy ligero 👌 totalmente recomendado.

I made this a month ago and it turned out so good. Although in my recipe I don't really put them on the fridge and definitely no gelatin too. I think gelatin keeps the texture a lot firmer just like yours.
