I was wondering how many engaging comments you guys receive on your blogs on average.
And I don't mean comments like 'Good post', but comments the author has put some effort in, comment you can really appreciate.
If you have something to add, please let us know in the comments.
My posts often generate nice payouts, and then attract both comment farmers and real comments. I guess the ratio is 1:1 to 1:2 in favor of the comment farmers.
I also notice that posts with higher payouts or rather Huvers with a larger stake get more comments. And it will probably be mostly because of comment farmers.
That is the reason why our curation service upvotes quality comments on all blogs.
I see some, like @godfish mentioned, comment farmers. Not just on mine, but there is one friend in particular wwhose posts are overrun with sycophantic flattery, which has nothing to do with the quality or content of the post.
I rarely do long form posts, except Actifit. So I guess that's one of the reason I dont udually get that much engagement.
I would need to be more active to get more engagement I think.
Not a lot, but it depends on my post and what community I posted it in. I mostly get a lot of engagement when I post something anime-related, especially if they've also seen what I've reviewed, and so on.

A normal day in the city center, there are many people walking in all directions, while others take a well-deserved rest. All this takes place in the midst of a cool environment, where the breeze is constant and the clouds are covering everything.
And that is how a normal day works. You will always find people going about their business.

If there's ETH involved, I'm out. Everything I participate in that has it is insane, you pay more in fees than you actually receive, I prefer SOLANA.
Maybe they look too much at the value of ETH and that makes them hopeful of achieving something, or it could be usability or projects? I really don't understand how they stay on ETH but don't come to Hive, for example.

Currently testing out Loopy Pro v2 which is in its final beta stages as we speak. It’s been a long time coming but from what I’ve seen so far it looks great. I particularly love the fact you can now record MIDI into clips and not just audio. I’ll be writing some diaries on this.
I handed it in before the weekend and was initially told it would be done while I waited.

I hadn't thought of it that way. It would be a great excuse to get a tattoo.
Some people don't need a reason, they just do it for aesthetic, which I don't judge. But for me, it needs to have meaning. And having my life changed substantially by the hive would be a good reason to do it. I think I would make a little bee, or a red H.
I feel the same way about getting tattoos. If it doesn't tell a story, it has no substantial meaning to me.

I really need to learn to reduce my word count in my posts. I feel I write way too much and keep trying to hit an artificial 1k word barrier when most others are writing 300 - 500 words and making 2x - 3x more.
