Another supper to make for the staff and this time, another round of - WINGS!
The last time I made wings were traditional buffalo wings with a blue cheese dip. So for this round, I wanted to change things up with both the wings and the sauce and came up with a miso hot sauce to toss the wings in and a mustard and onion cream sauce.
For the wings I marinated it with salt and pepper which is my base go to mix then oven roasted it at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
For the miso hot sauce, simply combine miso, butter, sriracha, vinegar, and salt. Throw in the wings to the mix and toss until it's well coated.
The mustard and onion cream sauce starts with sauteeing sliced onions in butter together with mustard seeds. Once the onions soften, add in Dijon mustard, cream, chicken stock, season to taste and this amazing sauce is done!
Tender fall of the bone wings with a slight char coated with an umami packed sticky glaze and a tangy, rich cream sauce to dip!
Do you like wings or do you think it's too much of a hassle to eat? Which gang are you in?
