RE: Akpu and Nigerian Jollof Rice || WE #222

Akpu is delicious. It is made from cassava and served with any soup of your choice.
The Jollof rice is one of Nigeria's cuisines in our restaurants.

I don't know what cassava is here in Venezuela. It seems to me like a vegetable like potatoes or sweet potatoes, that's how I imagine it!

Cassava is a tuber crop, it grows like yam. When harvested, it is processed and made into flakes from which you can make garri or akpu.

Oh yes, I already saw it, here it is called "Yuka", and we usually eat it with butter and also make flour with it. She feeds a lot.

Yuka

Nice.
You went all out to get details.
The flour can be referred to as garri.

Oh lol, now i see, cassava is named YUKA here on Venezuela @mrenglish
