Planting media is like the environment in which humans grow. Planting media must be renewed to provide maximum nutrition to plants. I always make sure that the planting media for the plants in my garden is good.
I make sure that good planting media has a loose texture and does not compact easily when exposed to rain and heat. When I look more closely, there are usually worms in the planting media.
According to my experience so far when gardening, planting media that has lost nutrients will become compacted and affect the roots of the plant. The worst thing is that plants can die due to root rot due to loose planting media.
Planting media that loses nutrients will also cause plants to fail to develop optimally. Fruit plants will also fail to bear fruit.
Several times the plants in my garden have also experienced root rot which causes leaf loss followed by the death of the plant as a whole. In addition, pests are more likely to attack if the quality of the planting media deteriorates.
That's why I always pay attention to the nutrition of the planting media in my garden. Regular fertilization is a must. I even always record the fertilization schedule so that the plants in my garden can grow optimally and get the harvest time according to the estimate.
This time I will fertilize. My garden is an organic garden. The organic fertilizer that I choose is usually compost or goat manure. People often say that organic farming is more expensive. The fact is, it is not. I think it's the same as buying organic fertilizer.

I clean the weeds before adding fertilizer to the water spinach plants.
I use goat manure as organic fertilizer but make sure the goat manure is ready to use.
The texture is already smooth and do not use goat manure that is still in granular form. Because it is useless because it will not be absorbed by the plants and is also hot which will damage the plants, especially vegetables.
How amazing the work of goat manure! You can see after 5 days of giving goat manure, the growth of the water spinach plant looks lush.
