Gardening teaches us about a lot of love. I feel comfortable being around plants. And miraculously plants will not give the best results if we become stressed.
Gardening makes me learn to manage stress well. And that actually makes me calmer.
By having gardening activities, I also feel like I have a living refrigerator. It means there is a supply that can be cooked fresh even though it is not much.
Indeed, now I am still trying to manage my mini garden. So that the results can be more optimal. So that I can harvest vegetables every day. Because every day I cook vegetables. I want one day I will no longer buy vegetables from the market.
Well, this time I will share about green bean plants which have finally been harvested several times! I am happy to finally be able to harvest green beans.
The beans that I planted are upright beans, not creeping, and the size of the beans is the baby type, not big.
These green bean plants turned out to have very dense fruit. I really didn't expect them to really show their dedication of love to me. ❤️❤️❤️
For maintenance, I routinely use organic fertilizer from fermented goat manure.
Before fertilizing with manure, I add eggshell powder. Usually I add eggshell powder once every two to three weeks.
After spreading the eggshell powder on the surface of the green bean plants, then I add goat manure.
For pests, I don't use any pesticides. I only add marigolds to my garden. In addition to their beautiful colors, they are very effective in reducing pest attacks on plants, especially vegetables.
These types of green bean plants can be quickly harvested starting at 40 days old. Meanwhile, I harvested them at 50 days old.
I am happy with this result. Indeed, this is the first time I have planted these types of green bean plants. So I will plant this type again next time!
So far I have harvested 3 times. The fruit on the green bean plants is still abundant. Hopefully they will be fine until harvest.
The sunlight seems to have shifted areas from before. So my green bean plants are starting to not get sunlight. I'm doing the best I can. I hope everything is fine. ❤️
