I used to roll my eyes at people snapping pics of their meals.
Like, why? Who cares about your avocado toast?
But then I caught myself doing the exact same thing.
It started back when I was deep into bodybuilding. My coach made me photograph every single plate and send it to him — total accountability mode. He’d check if I was hitting my macros or sneaking extra carbs. That’s probably where the habit kicked in.

Fast forward, and now my camera roll is stuffed with random food shots. So I figured, why not turn it into a thing?
Welcome to my new weekly series: Food on My Phone. Just real shots of what I actually ate over the past seven days.

Yeah, some of these look pretty indulgent — burgers, steaks, fried potatoes, the works.

You might think, "Dude, that's not diet food." And you'd be half right.
But here's the deal: since September, I've dropped 10 kilos (from 101 down to 91). My original goal was 14–15, and I'm still going.

Last time I was in Thailand, I shed 15 kilos and felt unstoppable. Came back to Russia, life happened, and the weight crept back on.
This round? No fancy diets, no keto, no intermittent fasting gimmicks. I just know my stuff when it comes to calories, how food digests, and what fuels me best.

The secret? I basically cut my portion sizes in half and created a consistent calorie deficit. That's it. Sustainable, no burnout.
And because of that, I can still enjoy the good stuff occasionally — a proper burger, a juicy steak, crispy fries — without derailing everything.
Oh, and Coke? Still in the mix, but always zero sugar.

These phone pics have been piling up forever, so I'm making it official: every week, I'll dump the highlights here. Keeps me accountable, and maybe it'll inspire someone else to track their own eats (or just make you hungry).
If you had something delicious today and snapped a pic, drop it in the comments. Let's see what you're eating — no judgment, promise. 🚀

I write my texts myself, correct mistakes and translate via ChatGPT (which is not a violation on Hive)!
All photos were taken by me personally - I am a beginner photographer, so I ask professionals not to judge strictly.
Thank you for sharing these moments with me! Until new stories and new holidays! ✌️.
