At last, sleeping in our beautiful (larger) canvas tent (in Portugal), after a few days of drying it out, spraying with vinegar and bicarb. soda, and extensively mopping - it having been badly taken care of by friends who borrrowed it.
I'd rather poke my eyes out with sticks than sleep in a tent:) But you're made of sterner stuff than I. Blessings be upon you for your fearlessness and fortitude.
I´m so sorry to hear, tents care is very important, I think very carefully before borrown mine! Glad you were able to recover it!
I wonder how it feels to sleep in a tent and the calmness of night and the cold breeze. I'm sure it's cool. I hope you have a good night's sleep 😴
Oh that’s too bad, we had the same experience with our friends. I hope everything turns out well now for you
It can gave an interesting feelings to sleep in our canvas tent after a long time of using it. The people did great for taking good care of the tent.

The unique design, cleverly utilizing what appears to be upcycled materials like shirt pockets and durable fabric, reflects not only an eye for aesthetics but also a deep respect for reimagining utility in style. It sits there basking in the Portuguese sun like a seasoned traveler ready for its next adventure, blending seamlessly into the natural beauty around it.
This post is like a gentle, soul-soothing whisper from nature. That serene night scene with the glowing canvas tent under a radiant moon is absolutely magical. It evokes a sense of deep peace, simplicity, and return to the essential. Sleeping in a tent you’ve cared for, cleaned, and prepared yourself—especially using natural remedies like vinegar and bicarbonate soda—feels so symbolic of a life grounded in intention, connection, and self-reliance.
