At last, sleeping in our beautiful (larger) canvas tent (in Portugal), after a few days of drying it out, spraying with vinegar and bicarb. soda, and extensively mopping - it having been badly taken care of by friends who borrrowed it.
I'd rather poke my eyes out with sticks than sleep in a tent:) But you're made of sterner stuff than I. Blessings be upon you for your fearlessness and fortitude.

Who could have expected that the richest and most powerful men in the world could be such whiny kids. Both are dumb and selfish.
Everyone should have expected it. Not only are the rich and powerful just people at the end of the day, but because they've been isolated from evolutionary pressures for millenia, they're also often the worst people.
I don't think it applies in all cases, but some seem corrupted by the lives they have had. Being born into wealth can be unhealthy. I expected these two to fall out much sooner. They just exploited each other.
Very few things apply in all cases, but being born to wealth is a proven handicap to emotional development.
